I work closely with couples to ensure their sessions really express them and their relationship.. “Naturally posed” is the best way to describe it. I work candidly, but also classically to create timeless images. I like to let events unfold naturally with a little guidance along the way. 10, 20 or even 30 years from now I want you to be able to look back at your images and remember the moment and feel the same way you did during our session together.
Absolutely! After we chat during your inquiry I would be happy to send over a full gallery for you to view! Also take a look at my blog, and social media outlets to get a collective idea of my work!
I graduated from Sage College of Albany in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art/Photography. Shortly afterwards I photographed my first wedding with another student and immediately fell in love with watching love stories unfold in front of me! I have been photographing weddings, portraits and families for about 7 years starting out as a full time assistant and eventually moving into my own business.
I won’t know until you ask! I do work closely with several venues in the Rochester & Finger Lakes areas, but if your venue is new to me, I will most likely do a quick walk through with you before the wedding day to scout out some awesome spots for pictures!
All the images I take during our session are narrowed down to the best ones! I promise you do not need the blurry, unflattering or the ones where your eyes half blinking. After that, each image is hand edited to ensure quality and style is consistent. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall delivery quality.
Legally, if you’ve already paid your retainer, I can’t refund it to you unless I can re-book your date within a specified time period. Otherwise a new retainer will have to be paid to hold the new date for weddings & events. For smaller sessions, again your retainer is non – refundable, but we can make arrangements for rescheduling.
I am currently located in the Finger Lakes, New York…more specifically Clyde, New York! I travel all over this amazing state ( and others) for weddings, elopements and sessions! If there are travel fees involved regarding your event, we can talk about them during your initial consult.
I work closely with several photographers in the area on a regular basis. A second shooter/assistant is included in some collections. If you are having a larger wedding I always recommend a second shooter!
Grab your umbrellas..because we are still shooting! Unless its a monsoon that is headed our way, a light sprinkle is not going to stop us. However, if the weather is bad enough that we are at risk or equipment may get damaged we will reschedule.
Does anywhere & everywhere count?! There are so many AMAZING locations in the Finger Lakes area. From waterfalls…urban walls…to mountains tops! Finding that perfect location that makes your session all about you is what is important! Let’s talk about where you had your first date, or a bucket list date you have always wanted to go on. These are the spots that really make your session as unique as you are! One of my favorite things to do is to travel and find incredible locations all over the area, country…dare I say WORLD?! Wanna do a session that involves a plane ride? I’ll pack my bags!
Nope! Would you ask a chef at a restaurant to bring you all the ingredients of your meal for you to make yourself? Let me handle all the editing and you will LOVE the finished product..It is where all…well some, of the magic happens!
A PRINT RELEASE is where the photographer (me) gives you documentation signed by all parties of the session which gives you permission to print your digital files that are included in your session at any lab you choose. There are several labs I recommend to clients over others to ensure you have good quality final printed images.
A COPYRIGHT RELEASE is where the photographer (me) gives up any and all full rights to the images shot during the session to the client. At this time, copyright releases are not permitted with Dani T Photography, and all rights to the images are to stay with the original photographer.
To reserve your session date, a retainer of 50% of your session total is due at the time of the contract signing. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session or 7 days prior.
To reserve a wedding date, a retainer of $850 is due at the time of the contract signing. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the wedding date.
I sure do! A few months out from your event, we will meet and discuss all the final details of how the day will flow together. From there we put together your timeline, and go over it with your other vendors as well to ensure everyone is on the same page.
Yes! I offer a verity of products which are available for purchase after you session, including custom designed studio albums, large metal prints, etc. Prints of all sizes can also be ordered through the studio.
Where are we headed?! I love intimate destination weddings..big destination weddings.. all of them! Let’s talk more about details to get you the correct quote for you are visualizing. Travel fees may be required.
It can all depend on how busy I am, holidays and my travel schedule but you are guaranteed to receive your portrait gallery within 4-6 weeks and 8-12 for weddings.
Yes you can! All sessions & events are provided with an online gallery, which includes a print release of the final edited images. The gallery is also equipped with the ability to online order your images directly through a reputable print lab. For prints larger than 11” x 14” or a more specific product I do recommend contacting me for ordering to ensure all specifications are correct.
