When I first met Scott + Katrina at a Dunkin Donuts, we chatted together for over an hour about all their magical wedding plans, and the perfect place settings, which turned into planning a mountain top adventure session for after their wedding day. We were excited, and dreaming about all the possibilities! With Scott + Katrina both being avid Adirondack Mountain hikers, this was a dream for them too!
Then, COVID – 19 hit, and all these wedding plans were put on hold. I had spent countless hours talking with brides, and making new plans for their wedding days, when Katrina contacted me and said in not so many words, “ We wanna get married on a mountain top, you in?” I squealed with excitement, I called her immediately and we began mapping out the new plan right away. My head was swimming with ideas, and finding the perfect location for them and the few family members they were inviting to their intimate wedding ceremony. We decided on a more secluded Adirondack Mountain Top, and it couldn’t have been more dreamy!
The most perfect wedding day quick approached, where my assistant and I met Katrina and her bride tribe at the base of the mountain, while Scott, already dressed in his suite and his crew headed up before us and set up the ceremony site, a small video camera and a changing area for the girls ,which was so sweet of him! The girls got dressed, parents took their places, and Katrina walked down with her father by her side. As the wind whipped across the mountain top, Scott + Katrina said their vows to one another, which left us all in tears, before sharing their first kiss as husband and wife! After a Champaign toast, and mini celebration, Scott + Katrina shared their first dance, over looking the Adirondack Mountains, and truly taking in each moment of their wedding day.
In Katina’s words “While we would have enjoyed a wedding with our extended families to see everyone come together, our intimate ceremony was very special to us. Our wedding day was truly a dream come true. We hope that others who don’t want to postpone their big day are inspired by our alternate plan! All you need is love!”
Scott and Katrina, I am so lucky to have been a part of your wedding day! It was magical, heartwarming and everything a wedding should be. You both are inspiring with your adventures and love for each other, I just adore you! Here is to many more adventures together!

What was your most memorable part of the wedding day?
Katrina : “It sounds cliché but enjoy every moment of your wedding day because it flies by! Take a few moments to stop, look around, and notice everything that is going on.”
Scott : “Keep it simple and true to what you and your significant other desire.”
What surprised you most about your wedding day?
Katrina : “How fast it went by!”
Scott : “How beautiful it was and how everything seemed to fall into place– everyone made it up Rocky Mountain, the sun was shining on Fourth Lake, the mountains were super green, and the wind kept the black flies away (mostly).”
