40th Birthday Session | Ithaca, New York | Dani T Photography

A birthday, no matter what age can be stressful. For some reason as a society we put this limit on a number that is simply just that…a number. I doesn’t mean you are any less of a person, less successful or are running out of time. I just means you have matured, you have lived and experienced your life to this point in time. And THAT is just what Nichole and I discussed when planning her milestone session together.

We headed into this session with the mindset of 40 and fabulous! Together, Nichole and I explored the beautiful landscaping and architecture of Treaman State Park, finding little gems along the way. With Good conversation and of course cake the end what more could you ask for?!

“  I am blown away. These have far exceeded my expectations.  Thank you for capturing a private, intimate side of me during a time in my life & making it something to celebrate. I am going to print almost every single one, make an album for each of my daughters with a personal note to them about my love for them, my view on life at 40 & my wishes for them as a woman. 

 To be a “photographer” can be easy, Point & shoot, right? Wrong. My Dear, you are more than that, a Photographer captured the words being whispered from my soul that I didn’t want anyone else to hear. “
