Nashville, Tennessee Engagement | Narrows of the Harpeth | Dani T Photography

A quick to trip to Nashville always means getting to see some of my favorite couples..along with getting some new ones in front of my camera! I met Mindy & Jay at a a mutual friend’s wedding last Summer. Mindy has been a long time follower of my work, and her dream was to be photographed by me! Well I am all about making dream comes true! So we planned it out, and as I was getting off the plane at the airport…Jay got a hold me and said “ I am going to propose to Mindy tonight!” I immediately began thinking of all the ways we could pull this off..what prompts?!.. what words?! Oh my!!

Things went off without a hitch! Our friends who introduced us all, Brittany & Josh, tagged along for a session of their own. Jay had the ring in his pocket the whole time! We were all a little anxious knowing the next stop was the proposal site after we hiked down the mountain.

Finally it came time…I don’t know how we all held it together during this point! I put Mindy & Jay in one of my favorite prompt poses..and let things unfold. We all cried out of happiness while she said YES to her forever! They are already planning their incredible wedding day, which I cannot wait to be a part of!
